Our last stop in Minnesota was in Duluth. We crossed the Duluth Lift Bridge while exploring the area. We could see the shipping docks in both Duluth, Minnesota and Superior, Wisconsin. We drove through the Apostle Islands area in northern Wisconsin and stayed at Washburn, just north of Ashland. Back in Michigan, we headed to the Lake Gogebic State Park. We camped on the lake. There were Mallard ducks near our site, which proved very interesting to Chessie.
